What will you/won’t you draw?
I WILL draw any human or humanoid person. NSFW is fine as long as everyone is of legal age and consenting. I will (happily) draw LGBTQ characters and couples.
I will NOT draw animals or nonhumanoid creatures, robots, cars, nonconsensual acts, graphic violence/gore.
How do I commission art?
If you’re interested in commissioning art from me, please use the contact form on my commission page. The more information you can give me (character descriptions, height differences, reference images, etc), the better!
If I believe your project is within my scope of ability, I will send you a contract and quote you a price for the work. 50% of that price will need to be paid in order for me to start work on a sketch. This deposit is nonrefundable, unless for some reason I am unable to complete the work for you, in which case I will initiate a refund myself.
I’ll send you the sketch when it’s complete, and you’ll have the opportunity to request revisions or approve the sketch. Once you approve of the sketch, the final 50% of the price must be paid before I begin rendering your art. After this point, small tweaks such as color corrections will be free of charge, but more elaborate changes may incur a small charge depending on complexity.
Please note: If you abandon the project or fail to pay within two weeks of request, the rights to the art will default back to me so I can repurpose it for other means. If there are features specific to your IP, I will alter them so as not to infringe upon it. If this is an issue for you, please let me know ahead of time so we can discuss.
How do I purchase a premade cover?
Please use the contact form on the premade cover page to let me know which cover you’re interested in. I’ll reach back out to you with a contract and a means of payment. You’ll have the opportunity to have small changes made (I can alter character coloring to suit your vision.) For text changes, I can either give you a blank cover or alter the title text for you.. My typography is done in Canva, so I can also give you a Canva template link if you’d like it.
Do I need to pay an extra licensing fee?
No, any purchase you make from me includes the right to profit from the art by means of physical prints, digital or physical book covers, use in ads, and of course you are free to post them on any of your socials/website. The only exception is that you may not transfer rights to another person – for example, if your book is picked up by an imprint that wants to keep the cover. In this rare circumstance, the new publisher would need to contact me.
How do I know I’m protected?
All my sales involve a contract signed by both of us that clearly lists what rights each of us have and the terms and conditions we both should adhere to.
Why can’t I book you in advance?
I don’t schedule out because I’m chronically ill and my health is very variable. If I’m not available to work on a project at the time you contact me for a commission, I will let you know and offer to reach out to you when my situation improves. I don’t want to hold anyone up on a project because I couldn’t predict how I’d be feeling in a few months. Thank you for your understanding!
